PSCORE is holding an online workshop in order to discuss the peaceful reunification on the Korean peninsula. This will be a good opportunity for South and North Korean young adults as well as foreigners to talk about the successful reunification of the two Koreas.
‘성공적인 통일을 만들어가는 사람들’에서는 남북한의 성공적인 통일준비를 위해 남북한 청년들과 외국인들이 함께 소통하는 평화통일 온라인 워크샵을 진행합니다.
We welcome all participants who wants to join the conversation about Korea reunification, and also North Korean human rights.
평소 한반도 통일과 인권문제에 관심이 있으시거나 해외에서 남북한을 바라보는 모습에 관심이 있으신 분들의 많은 관심과 참여 바랍니다.
In this workshop we aim:
o To promote meaningful conversation between global citizens including North/South Korean young adults.
o To seek ways for global young adults to work together to build peace on the Korean Peninsula.
o To have discussion that is related to “social integration between North and South Koreans.”
워크샵의 목적
o 남북한 청년들을 포함한 세계청년들이 직접 만나 대화하는 시간을 갖고
o 한반도 평화구축을 위해 세계 청년들이 함께 노력할 수 있는 방안들을 모색
o ‘2019 남북한 사회통합 안내서’의 주제와 연결된 토의를 진행한다. 남북한 사람들이 사회통합과 원활한 커뮤니케이션을 할 수 있는 방안에 대해 토의
Procedure:
o We are recruiting North Korean escapees, South Koreans, and foreigners who are interested in the peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula.
o This organization will provide the “2019 Inter-Korean Social Integration Guide” as well as various unification-related materials to prepare in advance for the discussion on the peaceful unification. In addition to that, there will be multiple groups in the workshop, each group will conduct their own conversations based on the material provided.
All participants are kindly expected to respect other participants opinion on the peaceful reunification therefore, it is important to listen to each other’s thoughts through online workshops. After that, the PSCORE will share the opinions of young adults from participants by making a video clips from the discussions.
o After the workshops, we will create a mini-book proposal which consists of 4 pages of B5 paper, mainly explanatory texts and images, based on the discussions and the “2019 Inter-Korean Social Integration Guide”.

o 한반도 평화통일에 관심이 있는 탈북민, 한국인, 외국인 청년들 모집
o 본 단체가 평화통일 기반마련을 위해 준비한 ‘2019 남북한 사회통합 안내서’와 각종 통일관련 자료들을 사전에 숙지하고 각 조별로 토의 워크샵 진행 (온라인 혹은 오프라인 팀별 결정)
o 온라인 워크샵을 통해 평화통일에 대한 각자의 생각을 듣고, 토의내용을 동영상으로 제작해 남북한, 외국 청년들의 통일에 대한 생각을 공유
o 위 토의내용과 ‘2019 남북한 사회통합 안내서’의 내용을 바탕으로 미니 책자를 제안 (B5 용지 4면, 설명글과 이미지 위주)

Recruitment Target:
o Any youths who are interested in Korean reunification, unity, and human rights.
o Any nationality and locations are welcomed (the participants must be able to attend online team discussions).
o Participants must be able to communicate in either English or Korean.

o 국적, 위치 무관 (팀별 온라인 토의에 참가할 수 있어야 함)
o 최소 한국어 혹은 영어로 의사소통이 가능해야 함

Team Composition:
o Each team will comprise of North Korean escapees, South Koreans, and foreigners.
o Each participants will meet approximately three times in accordance with the schedules of team members.
팀 구성
o 각 팀에 탈북민, 남한출신, 외국인들을 다양하게 배치
o 각 팀별 토의 진행은 팀이 구성된 이후부터 최종 영상 제작일 전까지 최소 3회 이상, 팀별 상황과 스케줄에 맞춰 충분히 진행
Participation Awards:
o A workshop participation confirmation,
o Priority selection for tour (in July or August) of the DMZ,
o Mini booklet workshop winners will receive:
- Starbucks Gift Card 50,000won for participants living in South Korean and an Amazon Gift Card of the same value for participants living abroad (1st place)
- Starbucks Gift Card 30,000won and an Amazon Gift Card of the same value for participants living abroad (2nd place)
and will include a list of participants in the booklet.
