Greetings
My name is Trevor and I am a pharmacist from Calgary, Canada. I am completing an internship with PSCORE from April until June 2012. It’s very nice to be in Korea working with North Korea issues and it is a great change from the health care background that I am used to. I became interested in North Korean issues over a year ago and have done most of my background reading on my own. I previously studied pharmacy, and then completed a Masters Degree in Control of Infectious Diseases in Public Health in London, England. I would ultimately like to work in Global and International health and so I think experience from PSCORE will be very valuable because education, human rights, and health care often cannot be separated.
I have been here for almost two weeks so far and everyone has been extremely kind and welcoming for me. I know that my experiences in Korea and at PSCORE only get better from here.
