On the 14th last December, PSCORE and some of Seoul’s talented indie and rock bands took the stage in support of the North Korean defectors at Club Freebird. Like at the previous PSCORE Rock Out events did we rock together for a good cause. The atmosphere was great like always and we loved to see a lot of people.
The line up included:
09:20pm – BEATNIKS
10:00pm – Total Assholes
10:40pm – Wasted Johnny’s
11:20pm – Magna Fall
12:00am – 환난 곰 (Angry Bear)
12:40am – Slow Dress/느린 치마
01:20am – Genius
The event was a charity concert, organized by and for PSCORE. The proceeds went to funding of educational activities and social programs for North Korean defectors in South Korea. It also went to activities which raise awareness of the ongoing human rights violations taking place in North Korea.
In addition to the great bands, that time was organized a raffle with some amazing prices including Gift Certificates to Vatos Urban Tacos, PSCORE CDs, hoods and shirts as well as copies of Nothing to Envy by Barbara Demick and Jia: A novel of North Korea by Hyejin Kim.
PSCORE would like to thank each of the bands for taking part, as well as our volunteers who made the night such a great success! Also, a huge thank you to the crowd who came out and supported the event and our organization!
Here you get an impression of the event. We hope everyone who joined us had a lot of fun and hopefully we will see each other next time again.
