Last Saturday, it is safe to say that the latest edition of PSCORE’s ‘Rock Out’ charity concerts was the only place to be. Club Freebird was buzzing from the get go, with a vocal crowd loving every minute of the energetic performances given by Seoul’s most talented indie and rock bands.

The night began with a bang, with the Beatniks really wowing the crowd with their electronic rock, followed by Space Papa with some amazing guitar solos which really got the crowd going. Next up ‘The Lads’ lived up to their reputation of craziness with a set that brought the volume at Club Freebird to a whole new level. Not to be outdone though, Magna Fall amazed with an incredible progressive rock display with the lead singer really getting amongst the crowd! This was complemented wonderfully by the incredible vocals and instrumentals of the Wasted Johnny’s. To finish the night, the smoother than smooth Studs Lonigan experience were followed by the Total Assholes, whose energy made sure we are all partying well into the wee small hours.

PSCORE would like to take the opportunity to thank each of the bands for taking part, as well as our volunteers who made the night such an incredible success! Also, of course, a huge thank you to the big crowd who came out and supported the event and our organization!

The proceeds from this concert will go towards the funding of educational activities and social programs for North Korean defectors in South Korea. It will also go to activities which raise awareness of the ongoing human rights violations taking place in North Korea.

Keep a look-out for information on the next edition of ‘Rock Out’ in the near future. It promises to be yet another amazing show!
